Aleli Nabong, Philippine Blue Girls, softball national player from Morong. Rizal hotbed in baseball and softball during the 70s and 80s.
Pinoy will excel in sports like badminton, boxing, baseball (not basketball). Korea was used as an example: speed skating (height doesn't matter). Cycling in the Philippines.. here comes the politician (Lina brothers in basketball and cycling). Spanish cyclists are small in stature but excellent climbers.
Politicians are using sports to gain attention.
